Economy and Storage
The Pepemoss economy is built around exchanging resources, recipes, props, and tasks.
Economy
Base forms of exchange:
- Exchange between automatons and the player through quests.
- Exchange between players through a menu.
The economy should support the engineering loop: gather a resource, process it, assemble a prop, test it, trade it, or apply it in the world.
Storage
Storage keeps resources, recipes, and finished props.
Base properties:
- Limited default number of slots for finished props and resources.
- Ability to mark recipes that need to be disassembled or created.
- Resources are stored in stacks.
- Storage can be expanded with modules.
- Storage can be accessed through a filtering portal.
Storage connects the player with the prop workshop, building, and quests. Through it, the player can plan which recipes to assemble, which resources to gather, and which objects to disassemble.
