Prop Workshop
The prop workshop is an editor that lets the player create prop recipes inside a defined region of voxel space.
Recipes
Core recipe mechanics:
- An initial recipe can be created from an IRL photo and then edited.
- A finished recipe can be parameterized with tags, properties, and other settings.
- A recipe can be converted to STL.
- Game objects are created from a recipe and resources.
- A recipe can contain other recipes as primitives.
- Recipes can be connected to each other on the voxel grid.
- A recipe can be viewed from different angles: kinematic diagram, material diagram, electrical diagram.
- A recipe can have parameters to fill in.
- A recipe can have a compressed size: voxel size inside the grid changes, but mass is preserved.
- Before release, a prop needs a test run in the world so the recipe does not break game worlds.
